to Order at 7:05 pm
I. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Minutes from February board
meeting were reviewed. Motion to Approve by Kevin, 2nd
by Deb.
II. TREASURER’S REPORT
Treasurer’s report for October
2009 through March 2010 was presented and reviewed. Current check book balance
is $8,459.49. Motions to approve Treasurer’s report made by Missy
and Angel.
III. COMMITTEE REPORTS
A. Concessions
Director – Deb Gonzales - Nothing
B. Coaching
Director – As of yet no applications for this position. Jason and Kevin
talked about the need to start
looking for coaches.
Applications are due by the end of March.
C. Program
Director – Melissa Cunningham – Considering having pictures taken this year
by a gentleman who
provides the pictures for
other rocket programs in the surrounding areas. Will ask for
samples of his work.
May consider scheduling a picture
day for Saturday for all teams.
D. Fundraising
Director – Angela Brummel – Nothing current. Talked about Sponsor Letter. Will consider sending
this out in the Fall to help
with fundraising.
E. Field Director
- Scott Konicki - Absent
IV. OLD BUSINESS
Meeting with the school – this is still ongoing. Will know
by next month if we are going to have the 8th grade
program.
Off Season Training – was held Friday, February 26. There
were 69 students present. We had 13 early
registrations.
V. NEW BUSINESS
Scott; Saturday, March 20th
12p-4p Kevin, 4p-2a Angel. Thursday, April 8th 5p-2a –
Stephanie; still need
volunteers for Friday and
Saturday.
Registration – dates have been set as May 12-15 (Wednesday –
Saturday). Times for Wednesday, Thursday and
Friday will be 6-8 pm at the Varsity football field;
Saturday from 10a-2p. Motion made by Kevin to use the
forms created by Stephanie
using data from the registration database for the registrations, having the
information verified by
parents rather than having new forms filled out every year. Second
by Angel. All Ayes.
Information flyer will be updated with GRF logo, times
and dates and information about mini camp on
May 15th.
Off Season Training – There will be another off season
training on Friday, March 26 at the High School gym, from
6:30-8:30 pm, with pizza afterwards.
