Board of Directors Meeting

Members Present: Jerry Bomay – President; Kevin Throop – Vice President; Stephanie Howell – Secretary; Tanya

Hector – Treasurer; Jason Cunningham – Coaching Director; Deb Gonzales – Concessions Director; Melissa Cunningham – Programming Director; Scott Konicki – Field Director

 

Members Absent:  Angela Hicks – Fundraising Director

 

    I.   APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Minutes from August board meeting were reviewed. Motion to Approve by Melissa Cunningham. Second by Tanya Hector.

 

   II.   TREASURER’S REPORT

Treasurer’s report for June 1 through September 2 was presented and reviewed. Current check book balance is $7257.00. Deposits totaled $548.11 while expenses were $7061.65. Main expense was payment of the jerseys. Motions to approve Treasurer’s report made by Stephanie Howell and Kevin Throop.

 

  III.   COMMITTEE REPORTS

         A.   Concessions Director – Deb Gonzales

               Punt Pass & Kick competition brought in $194.11. Very few supplies are needed at this current time for

               future games.

 

         B.   Coaching Director – Jason Cunningham

               Need to order the number stickers for the player helmets. Also need to remember to raffle the game ball

               during the games this year. Will need volunteers to help with this.

 

         C.   Program Director – Melissa Cunningham

               Program ads and player messages are coming to a close. Trying to contact parents who placed messages in

               the    program last year but have not yet submitted one for this year. Total of ads and messages submitted so

               far is             $319.00. Pictures have been scheduled for the cheerleaders so they can also be included in the

               program. Jerry’s team is the only team left to have their pictures taken for the program. Working with Elaine

               DeLange to schedule the individual and team photo times.

 

         D.   Fundraising Director – Angela Hicks

               Absent.         

 

         E.   Field Director - Scott Konicki

               Still need volunteers to help with various tasks, including Concessions on Wednesday nights.

               **PARENT’S DAY will be September 26th for the four team that are home that day. October 17th will be

               Parent’s Day for the teams not included in September. Also, PowerShots Photography will be in Grant on

               October 17th taking action shots that will be available for purchase.

        

  IV.   OLD BUSINESS     

         Taxes are now complete and will be sent in this week.       

 

   V.   NEW BUSINESS

         Please keep kids to a minimum in both the press box and concession stand. Also, any students volunteering to

         work the chain gang should be juniors or seniors.

 

         FIELD CLEAN UP: Last home team is responsible for clean up. Schedule is as follows:

               Sept. 12 - Grant Bengals (Lowry)

               Sept. 26 – Grant Siberians (Foster)

               Oct. 3 – Grant Saber Tooth (Kruzel)

               Oct. 17 – Grant Siberians (Foster)
